1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors and registered users of the Benivo website and any associated mobile experience. It does not cover the privacy practices of the third-party stores you visit after clicking through from Benivo — please read their own policies separately.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, and a password (stored in hashed form).
- Payout details: UPI ID or bank account information, provided only when you request a withdrawal.
- Anything you send us directly, such as messages through the contact form or support emails.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Click and tracking data: which store link you clicked, when, and the resulting order status, so cashback can be attributed correctly.
- Device and usage data: browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages viewed, used for analytics and fraud prevention.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 4 below.
3. How we use your information
- To track purchases made through Benivo and calculate, confirm and pay out cashback.
- To operate your account, including login, balance display, and withdrawal processing.
- To communicate with you about order status, policy changes, or in response to a support request.
- To detect and prevent fraud, including cashback claims that don't correspond to a genuine purchase.
- To improve the website, understand which categories and stores are most used, and fix issues.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Cookies
Benivo uses cookies to keep you signed in, to attribute a purchase you make on a store's website back to your Benivo click, and to understand aggregate site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but tracking-dependent features such as cashback attribution may stop working correctly if you do.
5. Sharing your information
- With payment processors, solely to complete a withdrawal you request.
- With service providers who host our infrastructure or send transactional emails on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- With law enforcement or regulators, where required by Indian law.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate account information at any time from your dashboard.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any pending cashback or legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent to non-essential communications, such as marketing emails.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@benivo.in.
8. Children's privacy
Benivo is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page.
